The only way to upgrade will be to buy a Windows Anytime Upgrade kit from a local retailer or via postal mail from Microsoft. Now, the software giant has decided to revise the program it will stop distributing product keys online starting on February 20. Up until now, users could pay and download a digital "product key" which they would then use to upgrade their copy of Vista with the DVD they received upon purchasing Microsoft's latest OS. Microsoft designed the Windows Anytime Upgrade program for customers wanting to upgrade their editions of Vista as they please.
